The Philippine Basketball
Association(PBA) has announced that on April 2015, a heart-pounding basketball
action will going to happen in the kingdom. A former stars from the Philippines
Basketball Association (PBA) will going to battle the Saudi All Stars in
Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam.
Games are scheduled in
Dammam(April 16), Riyadh (April 17) and Jeddah (April 18). Tickets will be available
at Injaz branches (Al-Bilad Bank) or you may inquire 0532681747.
The friendly match aims to strengthen
the sports ties of the two nations, not only to entertain the huge Filipino
community in the Kingdom. The program is being organized by Coordination Est.
for Events Planning and Organization, in coordination with Saudi Basketball
Academy.
Lined up to the PBA Legend Team
Players are: Alvin Patrimonio, Nelson Asaytono, Ferdinand Pumaren,Kenneth Duremdes,
Marlou Aquino, Crisanto Bolado, Renren Ritualo, Noli Locsin, Vince Hizon, and
E.J Feihland.
According to the organizers, they
expects the matches to be a huge hit not only for thousand s of Filipinos but
also for the basketball fanatics in Jeddah.
The PBA team will face the
selected and finest player of Saudi, who are active in different basketball
tournament in the kingdom. This is the second time that a PBA team is coming to
Jeddah, in 2012 they defeated Al-Ittihad’s team, 69-66.
