A satellite image from March, August and January 30, 2015 shows a fast progress of Chinese activity in Spratly island.
In just 10 months since the original structure has started, now China shows its significant presence in the disputed waters in the South China Sea through massive land reclamation.
From a small concrete platform, now it is a full island with helipads, airstrips, harbors and facilities to support large number of troops, according CNN report.
The latest images shows a huge reclamation of land around 75,000 sq. meters. Taiwan, Vietnam, and the Philippines, which also claim the disputed area also modifying the existing island but not reclaiming the large land area.
James Hardy, Asia Pacific editor said CNN that, if China's on the ground and is heavily armed, then it is going to be nigh on impossible for anyone to challenge or remove it, so international law is moot on this one."
